About Margie Zohn
For over three decades, Margie has been a trusted partner to senior executives and high-performing teams across many industries: financial services, biotechnology, healthcare, engineering, consulting, and more. Her clients include GE, Capital One, American Express, Con Edison, Wellington Management, Fidelity, Biogen, McKinsey & Company, and Boston Consulting Group—among many others.
A gifted educator and facilitator, Margie has designed and led hundreds of programs for corporate, academic, and nonprofit clients worldwide. Her approach blends rigorous intellectual frameworks with experiential learning to strengthen how people communicate, connect, and lead.
Margie served on the faculty of Harvard University for eight years, where her public speaking course became one of the university’s most in-demand and highest-rated offerings. She earned recognition for teaching excellence from Harvard’s Derek Bok Center every semester she taught. Margie now coaches early-career faculty at Harvard Business School, helping them share complex ideas with clarity and power.
She has guest lectured at business schools including MIT, Columbia, Duke, Wharton, Harvard, Darden and IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. Margie has also facilitated the work of the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science, applying performance-based tools to help experts connect with diverse audiences.
Drawing on her background as a professional actor, improviser, and director, Margie brings a dynamic, presence-driven approach to leadership coaching. She helps clients engage both intellect and emotion— so their leadership feels grounded and inspiring.
Margie holds a B.A. from Brown University and an Ed.M. from Harvard University. She earned a certification from the College of Executive Coaching, and has extensive postgraduate training in organizational psychology and development.
